story of being a midwife🩺💉

Becoming a midwife is certainly not as easy as one might think, all of this is felt by midwifery students who are in the process of studying. From crowded lectures, practical exams in laboratories which are certainly very stressful, field practice in hospitals, health centers, independent practice midwives who often get reprimands, scolding and anger from senior midwives, a mountain of Askeb reports, final project reports that must be completed according to the deadline. and of course the rules in the campus process. super duper disciplined lectures. But if people say everything will be "beautiful in its time" when we graduate from midwifery education and finally we know that the process will never betray the results.

From the community's point of view, midwives are birth attendants. Professionally, a midwife is a woman who has attended and graduated from a midwife education program that is recognized by the state, and fulfills the qualifications in registration and has a valid license or permit which is now known as an STR (registration certificate). A midwife is a professional who has duties and obligations towards maternal and child health (MCH). The midwife's own authority has been regulated in regulations, some of which are care during pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, newborns, infants, toddlers and pre-school children, and family planning.

There are so many rumors circulating about the midwife profession that it will be difficult to get a job when graduating from midwifery education. But in reality the midwife profession still exists, there are still many needed midwives in the delivery room of hospitals, health centers, health clinics and other health facilities. In fact, as long as there are women, there will still be birth rates that go through the process of pregnancy, childbirth and also the postpartum period. And that period will really need a midwife to accompany and provide care for a woman.

By becoming a midwife, God willing, the reward will flow from us helping 2 lives; a mother who will give birth to her baby and still get a bonus from the fortune we get as a sign of gratitude from the client for what we do.
